Thank your for choosing Digital Acoustics! The following information reviews installation of Digital Acoustics TalkMaster FOCUS software and IP Endpoint hardware. It also covers IP Endpoint network discovery and Configuration.

Hardware Installation

Digital Acoustics IP Endpoints must be connected to the network and depending on the model, may need to be connected to a Speaker or Transformer, a Microphone, an electronic door strike, etc.   The hardware Getting Started Guides and Reference Manuals review typical installation requirements as well as detailed technical information on IP Audio Endpoints and Accessories.

S3 Software Installation and IP Endpoint Configuration

If you have IP Audio Endpoints running our new S3 Firmware (the model number on the back of the device ends with -S3 or -S3-IC), configuration can be done using a web browser.  Our Device Discovery software makes it easy to find the devices on your network and open your web browser to start the configuration for a SIP system and/or for Singlewire’s InformaCast software.

TalkMaster Software Installation and IP Endpoint Configuration

For IP Audio Endpoints running our IP7 Firmware, the TalkMaster FOCUS software can be used to configure the devices after they are connected to your network. TalkMaster FOCUS is also used to talk, listen or send prerecorded audio files to Digital Acoustics IP Endpoints.  This video shows how to install TalkMaster FOCUS on your laptop, desktop or server computer.

Once the IP audio devices are connected to the network, they need to be discovered on the network and configured as a TalkMaster client and/or a SIP extension with proper IP Addresses, a server to connect to as well as any other options.  This video shows the process of configuring these options using the TalkMaster Administrator Console.
