Digital Acoustics History
Founded in 2003, Digital Acoustics sought to revolutionize audio communications by converging speech, data, and semiconductor technology. This objective remains the guiding focus today across an array of products that support internet-protocol (IP) communications solutions. Whether it’s protecting people and property, enhancing commerce, or improving a customer experience, our products can be found at institutions around the world (and outer space on the International Space Station).
2004 – Digital Acoustics created and developed an innovative series of TCP/IP intercoms targeted for security at the Hong Kong International Airport. This successful deployment led the industry as the first complete IP intercom solution of its kind.
2008 – Digital Acoustics received its first patent: Fail Forward™ which provides critical redundancy to communication systems, ensuring our customers have the uptime required so communications are never down. This patent technology remains unique in the industry and was chosen for deployment for the paging system at Bagram Airbase to support mission critical reliability.
2012 – Digital Acoustics product line was unified to support customer demands for VoIP (SIP 2.0 compatibility), next generation Full Duplex audio, CAP/RSS/TTS, Advanced Networking protocols and OEM production support.
Today – Our IP Intercom, IP Paging and IP Amplifier products are known in the market for providing effective, simplified solutions while delivering quality audio over Ethernet, wireless, and fiber networks.
Tomorrow – We’ll continue on our path of innovation by offering the optimum solutions for our customers and build on our collaboration with respected corporations including: Oracle, Tyco, Siemens, Stanley, and more. Together, we seek to push the envelope on digital communications technology to produce practical solutions that enhance safety and security and help serve people around the globe.
